Olearia Vinicola Villese
About the Winery
Olearia Vinicola Villese was founded in 1961 in Villalfonsina, Abruzzo, as a cooperative of olive growers that expanded into winemaking in 1974, now comprising approximately 550 member growers cultivating over 1,000 hectares. The cooperative produces 100,000 hectoliters of wine annually, including Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Trebbiano, Cerasuolo, Chardonnay, and Pecorino, alongside 1,700 quintals of extra virgin olive oil, making it one of the most important agricultural cooperatives in the province of Chieti.
