About the Winery
Donato Di Tommaso Vignaiolo is a small organic winery in Rosciano, Pescara, Abruzzo, managing 5 hectares of vineyard, of which 4 are dedicated to Montepulciano and 1 to international varieties including Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Nero, and Riesling Renano. The estate farms organically and uses traditional training methods including the tendone system for older Montepulciano plantings dating back to 1976 and 1978, producing wines of notable concentration and character that reflect the terroir of the first hills inland from the Adriatic coast.
