Cantina Valle Tritana, founded by Angelo Sansone in Ofena, Aquila, Abruzzo, is located in the historic Valle Tritana at the foot of the Gran Sasso, recognized as one of the oldest settlements of the Montepulciano grape. The estate manages approximately 30 hectares of vineyards and produces wines from Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Trebbiano, Pecorino, and Passerina, with a focus on creating wines that express the unique microclimate of the valley where significant diurnal temperature variations contribute to freshness and aromatic concentration.
