About the Winery
Cantina Frentana is a historic cooperative winery in Rocca San Giovanni, Chieti, Abruzzo, founded in 1960, that brings together over 300 member growers cultivating approximately 600 hectares of vineyards. The cooperative produces a wide range of wines from indigenous varieties including Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Trebbiano, Pecorino, Passerina, and Cococciola, with a focus on expressing the diverse terroirs of the Frentana hills between the Adriatic Sea and the Majella mountains.
