About the Winery

Fratelli Barba is a traditional family estate of mixed farming in Roseto degli Abruzzi, Teramo province, Abruzzo, comprising nearly 700 hectares of which 60 are vineyards planted on hills overlooking the Adriatic Sea. For almost 30 years under winemaker Stefano Chioccioli, the estate has produced exceptional-value wines including Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Trebbiano, Pecorino, and Cerasuolo, with their vineyards influenced by the sandy loam soils and Mediterranean climate of the coastal Abruzzo.
