Azienda Fausto Zazzara is a unique artisanal sparkling wine producer in Tocco da Casauria, Pescara province, Abruzzo, founded by Fausto Zazzara, a civil engineer turned 'bubble artisan' at age 60. The winery produces metodo classico sparkling wines from Pecorino, Cococciola, Passerina, and Montepulciano grapes that are aged 24 to 60 months in historic caves dating to the 1400s beneath the town center, with each bottle hand-finished in a modern laboratory.
