About the Winery

Zidarich is a renowned winery in the Carso DOC near Duino Aurisina, run by Benjamin Zidarich, who belongs to the first generation of vignerons to dedicate themselves completely to high-quality production from the region's native grape varieties. The 8-hectare estate cultivates Vitovska, Istrian Malvasia, Teran, Glera, Sauvignon Blanc, and Merlot on extremely poor stony limestone soils, with an underground cellar carved 20 meters into the rock providing perfect natural temperature and humidity conditions for aging wines that are pure expressions of the Carso terroir.
