About the Winery

Abbadia Ardenga is a historic winery in Torrenieri, Montalcino, with origins dating back to the 10th century and once belonging to the powerful Piccolomini family. Producing approximately 42,000 bottles annually from 12 hectares of Sangiovese vineyards, the estate crafts Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Rosso di Montalcino DOC, and Vin Santo DOC, with a museum celebrating over 1,000 catalogued farming-era tools.
