About the Winery

Cantina di Gambellara is the first cooperative winery in the province of Vicenza, established in 1947 on foundations dating back to 1920. Located in Gambellara on the border with Verona at 250-500 meters elevation, the cantina produces wines from the area's distinctive black basalt and volcanic soils, including Gambellara DOC and sparkling wines, working with member growers across the Lessini Mountains foothills.
