About the Winery
Villa San Carlo is a charming winery established by the Pavesi Family in 1958 on 70 hectares in the hills east of Verona, with 20 hectares of vineyards on ancient stone terraces. The family cultivates traditional Valpolicella varieties including Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella, producing limited quantities of Amarone, Ripasso, Valpolicella Superiore, and Recioto using the appassimento technique, with a focus on quality over quantity and organic certification.
