Villa Montepaldi

About the Winery

Villa Montepaldi is a historic estate in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, in the northern Chianti Classico zone, owned by the University of Florence since 1989. Spanning approximately 300 hectares with 46 hectares of vineyards, the estate produces Chianti Classico DOCG wines including Tagliafune and Gran Selezione, alongside olive oil and ancient grains, serving as both a working farm and a research laboratory for innovative viticulture.
