About the Winery

Villa Calicantus is a biodynamic winery in Calmasino, Bardolino Classico, on the eastern shores of Lake Garda, founded in 1860 and revived by Daniele Delaini in 2011. The estate farms 8 hectares of organically and biodynamically cultivated vineyards, many planted in 1966 on pergola systems, producing artisanal Bardolino, Chiaretto, and sparkling wines with yields half to one-third of the appellation limit, aged longer than any other producer in the area.
