About the Winery

Azienda Agricola Valle Vermiglia, founded in the 1950s by Pietro Campilli and now led by his grandson Mario Masini, produces the acclaimed Eremo Tuscolano Frascati Superiore DOCG at 600 meters on volcanic soils near Monte Porzio Catone. The estate's wines are crafted from Malvasia del Lazio, Malvasia di Candia, Trebbiano, and Bombino, and Mario Masini played a key role in Frascati achieving DOCG status in 2011.
