About the Winery
Gracciano della Seta (Tenuta di Gracciano) is one of the oldest estates in the Montepulciano area of Toscana, with a winemaking history documented to the mid-19th century when their Vino Nobile won the top prize at the 1864 International Wine Festival of Turin. Now managed by Giorgio della Seta and his daughter Vannozza on a 70-hectare property with 19 hectares of vines at 300-350 meters elevation, the certified organic estate produces approximately 90,000 bottles of Rosso di Montepulciano, Vino Nobile DOCG, Riserva, and the single-vineyard Pieve Gracciano from indigenous Prugnolo Gentile (Sangiovese) and Merlot.
