Ugo Vezzoli Franciacorta
About the Winery
Azienda Agricola Ugo Vezzoli is a small family-run Franciacorta producer located in the historic 17th-century Palazzo di San Pancrazio in Palazzolo sull'Oglio, on the southeastern border of the DOCG zone. Founded in 1981 when the family planted their first Chardonnay vineyard, the estate now cultivates six hectares of Chardonnay and Pinot Nero across several Franciacorta municipalities, producing approximately 50,000 bottles of Franciacorta DOCG and 10,000 bottles of quality sparkling wine using the SoloUva protocol — which replaces added sugars with estate-produced grape must — resulting in balanced, mineral wines that include Brut, Satèn, Rosé, Pas Dosé and Millesimato expressions.
