About the Winery

Turra is a certified organic, family-run winery founded in 1994 in Cologne at the foot of Monte Orfano in the heart of Franciacorta, cultivating 12 hectares of Chardonnay, Pinot Nero and Pinot Bianco with an annual production of 40,000 bottles. Owner Roberto Turra personally oversees every aspect from grafting and pruning to harvest and bottle design, crafting elegant Metodo Classico wines including Brut, Satèn, Rosé and Millesimato that uniquely express the chalky, calcareous soils of Monte Orfano — the only tectonic hill in Franciacorta — through sustainable viticulture and minimum manipulation in the cellar.
