About the Winery

Tenuta Travaglino is the oldest winery in Oltrepò Pavese, with origins dating to 1111 when the Castle of Calvignano was first documented, and officially established in 1868 when Vincenzo Comi acquired the estate, now spanning 400 hectares with 80 under vine. Today managed by the fifth generation, Cristina and Alessandro Cerri Comi, the estate is renowned for its focus on Pinot Nero and Riesling Renano, producing acclaimed Metodo Classico sparkling wines including the 90-month-aged Vincenzo Comi, alongside still Pinot Nero Riserva, Bonarda, and Barbera, all farmed with low-impact sustainable viticulture on calcareous-marne soils between Casteggio and Montalto Pavese.
