Torre Degli Alberi
About the Winery
Torre degli Alberi is a certified organic winery founded in 2009 by Camillo and Giacomo Dal Verme in the small medieval hamlet of Torre degli Alberi at 500 meters above sea level in the Oltrepò Pavese hills. From four hectares of Pinot Nero cultivated on steep south-facing slopes with chalky-clay soils, the estate produces approximately 20,000 bottles annually of exquisite Metodo Classico sparkling wines — including three vintage-dated expressions (Brut, Pas Dosé and Cruasé rosé) and a Riserva — all farmed organically with estate cattle manure as fertilizer, expressing the elegance and finesse that high altitude and dramatic day-night temperature swings bring to the wines.
