About the Winery

Theresa Eccher is a boutique winery founded in 2013 by Daniela Conta Eccher and her husband Andrea Panozzo in Solicchiata on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, at 800 meters elevation. The estate produces Etna DOC wines from pre-phylloxera vineyards in Contrada Pontale Palino and Contrada Mugunazza, specializing in Nerello Mascalese, Carricante, and Catarratto, with a philosophy of uncompromising quality and respect for tradition.
