Cantine Olivella (Vesuvius)
About the Winery
Cantine Olivella is a certified-organic winery founded in 2004 by winemaker Andrea Cozzolino in Sant'Anastasia, at the foot of Monte Somma in the Vesuvius National Park, named after the nearby 'Olivella' spring where Roman amphorae remains were discovered in 1974. The estate cultivates 12 hectares of vineyards across three municipalities, focusing on historic native varieties including Catalanesca, Caprettone, and Piedirosso on volcanic lava soils, with wines that express the unique minerality and character of the Vesuvian terroir.
