About the Winery

Cantine Briziarelli is a modern Montefalco winery founded by Pio Briziarelli in the early 20th century, with winemaking beginning in earnest in 2000 when the family acquired land and planted their first vineyards in 2003. The estate produces elegant Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG, Montefalco Rosso DOC, and Umbria Bianco IGT wines from a striking architecturally designed cellar overlooking the vineyards of Montefalco.
