About the Winery

Located in the Alta Tuscia near Acquapendente along the Via Francigena, just north of Lake Bolsena, Terre d'Aquesia is a winery whose vineyards extend over 10 hectares at approximately 300 meters above sea level on south-facing clay-loam slopes overlooking the Paglia river valley. The estate cultivates native varieties such as Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo, and Grechetto alongside international grapes including Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, producing wines that express a strong bond with a terroir of ancient winemaking tradition dating back to Etruscan times.
