About the Winery

Founded at the beginning of the 20th century in Bari Sardo, Ogliastra, Cantina Gebelias (also known as Tenute Gebelias) produces wines from vineyards situated at 250 meters altitude near the eastern Sardinian coast. The estate cultivates indigenous varieties including Cannonau and Vermentino, producing two lines of wines: 'Le Battaglie' and 'Gebel', with its flagship Gebel blend expressing the character of the Mediterranean scrub and the local terroir.
