About the Winery

Tenuta Scerscé is a boutique winery in Tirano, Valtellina, founded in 2008 by Cristina Scarpellini, who left a successful international legal career to pursue her passion for mountain Nebbiolo across six hectares of steep terraced vineyards. Working with renowned oenologist Attilio Pagli, the estate produces approximately 40,000 bottles annually of critically acclaimed wines including Rosso di Valtellina 'Nettare,' single-vineyard Valtellina Superiore from Sassella, Inferno and Valgella, a Riserva bearing Cristina's name, and the powerful Sforzato 'Infinito,' all crafted with near-natural viticulture that expresses the heroic character and unified personality of Valtellina.
