Tenuta San Francesco (Amalfi Coast)
About the Winery
Tenuta San Francesco is a winery in Tramonti, the 'green heart' of the Amalfi Coast UNESCO World Heritage Site, producing rare and authentic wines from ancient and pre-phylloxera vines. Out of 14 hectares, 8 are dedicated to century-old vines of indigenous varieties including Tintore, Piedirosso, Pepella, Falanghina, Ginestra, and Biancolella, grown on stony soil between 200 and 600 meters altitude that naturally resisted the phylloxera pest.
