About the Winery

Tenuta Le Velette is a historic family-run estate near Orvieto that has been owned by the Bottai family for almost 200 years, perched on a hill of volcanic tufa with nearly 2 kilometers of views of Orvieto's cathedral. The estate spans approximately 100 hectares with vineyards on exclusively volcanic soils, producing their flagship Orvieto Classico DOC and red wines from Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon.
