About the Winery
Tenuta Di Saragano is a historic 14th-century estate near Gualdo Cattaneo at the western edge of the Montefalco wine district, spanning 220 hectares with 15 hectares of organically farmed vineyards. Founded by Count Riccardo Pongelli Benedettoni, the estate is one of Italy's first certified organic wineries, producing Sagrantino, Sangiovese, Merlot, and Grechetto at elevations around 500 meters.
