About the Winery

Tenuta del Travale is an estate in Rovito, Cosenza, practicing 'heroic viticulture' on terraced hillsides just 9 km from Cosenza, founded in 1993 with vineyards replanted in 2007. The 5-hectare estate specializes in Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio, producing wines including Eleuteria (special edition in amphora), Epicarma (rosato), and Esmén Tetra, with all vineyard work done by hand on steep slopes surrounded by centuries-old olive groves.
