La Lupinella is an organic family winery in Vinci, Toscana, owned by Marco Bitossi with vineyards spanning Montespertoli and Sant'Ansano, producing Chianti DOCG, IGT Sangiovese, Rosato Toscana IGT, and Trebbiano Toscana IGT from indigenous varieties. The Bitossi family, renowned since the 16th century for artisanal ceramics, has farmed these clay-loam vineyards since 1977 and crafts wines in cement tanks and clay amphoras—using the same clay for both their celebrated ceramics and winemaking vessels—expressing a deep connection between earth, art, and wine.
