Podere La Casa Rossa is a family-run winery in San Gimignano, Toscana, owned and operated by Alessandro and Andrea Chiti since 1981, producing approximately 120,000 bottles annually from vineyards dating back to the 1960s. The estate is renowned for its 'Metodo Chiti' approach of extended barrel aging and deliberately slow release of wines including Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG, Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG Riserva, and the acclaimed Melandre IGT blend, crafting wines of uncommon depth and complexity from organically cultivated old vines.
