Ciavola Nera is a cooperative winery established in 2018 in San Marco Argentano, Cosenza, by Fabio Lento and friends Alfredo and Enrico Duini, who returned to Calabria after years away to produce natural wines. The cooperative practices synergistic agriculture using exclusively Calabrian indigenous grapes including Mantonico, Malvasia, Guarnaccino, Gaglioppo, and Magliocco Dolce, with wines crafted using minimal intervention and no chemical fertilizers in the vineyard.
