About the Winery

Scacciadiavoli, meaning 'devil banisher,' is one of Montefalco's oldest wineries, founded in 1884 by Prince Ugo Boncompagni-Ludovisi and owned by the Pambuffetti family since 1954. The estate's historic four-level gravity-flow winery produces approximately 250,000 bottles annually, with Sagrantino di Montefalco DOCG as the flagship in both dry and traditional passito styles.
