About the Winery
Maria Luisa Santus Azienda Agricola is a Franciacorta winery in Passirano established in 1995 by two agronomists, Maria Luisa Santus and Gianfranco Pagano, who planted 60,000 vines across 10 hectares with the goal of producing only Franciacorta DOCG. The estate's philosophy centers on the belief that small growers should defend diversity and nature's nuances, rejecting standardization to craft distinctive Metodo Classico wines from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that express the full complexity of the Franciacorta terroir.
