About the Winery
SAIO is known as the Vineyard of Assisi, spanning 20 hectares of vineyards and olive groves just 800 meters from the UNESCO-listed Basilica of Saint Francis. Founded in 2005, the Mencarelli family produces wines and extra virgin olive oil with a focus on artisanal quality and respect for nature, offering tastings with panoramic views of Assisi.
