About the Winery
Rivera is a historic winery founded in the late 1940s by Sebastiano de Corato in Andria, in the Castel del Monte area of northern Puglia, now in its fourth generation of family leadership. The estate owns 85 hectares of vineyards planted on deep tufaceous soils and rocky hills at elevations of 160-350 meters, producing acclaimed wines from indigenous varieties including Nero di Troia, Bombino Nero, Bombino Bianco, and Aglianico, with Il Falcone Riserva recognized as one of the banner wines of Puglia's wine renaissance.
