About the Winery

Cantina di Montalcino, founded in 1970, is the only cooperative winery in the Brunello di Montalcino area, with grapes sourced from approximately 94 affiliated small growers across all four quadrants of Montalcino. The modern 5,000-square-meter facility in Val di Cava manages 160 hectares of vineyards, producing Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Rosso di Montalcino, and grappa, with more than half the building underground for natural temperature control.
