About the Winery

Produttori di Manduria is the oldest active wine cooperative in Puglia, first established in 1928 as 'Federazione Vini di Manduria' and converted into a cooperative in 1932. Comprising 400 small growers known as the 'Maestri in Primitivo' who collectively farm over 1,000 hectares of vineyards, the cooperative is the guardian of Primitivo di Manduria DOC and DOCG wines, with its members proudly passing down their craft from father to son for nearly a century.
