About the Winery
Poggio Le Volpi is a historic estate in the Castelli Romani area of Lazio, founded by Felice Mergè in the 1920s, that expanded into Puglia in 2010 with the acquisition of the Masca del Tacco winery in Erchie, in the heart of Salento. The estate cultivates approximately 200 hectares of vineyards featuring native varieties including Primitivo, Negroamaro, Fiano, and the ancient Susumaniello, alongside international grapes, with many parcels of bush vines over 50 years old.
