About the Winery
Poderi Luigi Einaudi is a historic winery in Dogliani, Piedmont, founded in 1897 by Luigi Einaudi, who later became the first democratically elected President of the Italian Republic. Now in its fourth generation under Matteo Sardagna Einaudi, the estate spans 60 hectares across prime crus in Barolo, Dogliani, and beyond, crafting Barolo DOCG from sites including Bussia, Cannubi, and Monvigliero, alongside their renowned Dolcetto di Dogliani, with a philosophy of balancing elegance and structure.
