About the Winery
Podere Casa Piana is a young organic winery on the hills of Monteveglio, near Bologna, founded in 2019 by agronomist Simone to reconnect with his grandfather Pietro's farming legacy. The 4-hectare estate produces wines from Pignoletto, Barbera, Trebbiano, Alionza, and Lambrusco Grasparossa, with a focus on sustainable agriculture and wines that reflect the unique clay soils of the Valsamoggia.
