About the Winery
Planeta Etna is the Etna outpost of Planeta, one of Sicily's most internationally recognized wine families, with vineyards at Sciaranuova and Feudo di Mezzo on the northern slopes of Mount Etna above Passopisciaro at altitudes exceeding 800 meters. The estate produces Etna DOC wines from indigenous varieties including Nerello Mascalese and Carricante, with the Sciaranuova estate also featuring a unique Vineyard Theater that hosts the annual Sciaranuova Festival.
