About the Winery

Pio Cesare is one of Piedmont's most historic wineries, founded in 1881 in the center of Alba by Cesare Pio, among the first to believe in the greatness of Barolo and Barbaresco. Now in its fifth generation under Federica Boffa, the estate owns approximately 75 hectares of prime vineyards across Barolo, Barbaresco, and other appellations, producing Barolo DOCG, Barbaresco DOCG, and a full range of traditional wines from large Slavonian casks that express the classic elegance of the Langhe.
