About the Winery

Founded in 2002 by a group of friends and families tied to the land of Piglio, Pileum is a 15-hectare winery in the hills of Ciociaria at the foot of Monte Scalambra, dedicated to the historic Cesanese del Piglio DOCG tradition. The estate cultivates exclusively Cesanese di Affile and Passerina del Frusinate on small, well-exposed plots at 300 to 500 meters above sea level, producing elegant wines with deep respect for the ancient viticultural heritage of the region.
