About the Winery
Piano dei Daini is associated with Tenute Bosco, a winery founded in 2010 by Sofia Bosco on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, with vineyard parcels in the Piano dei Daini area of Solicchiata and Santo Spirito in Passopisciaro. The estate encompasses 10 hectares of organically farmed vineyards at approximately 700 meters elevation, including a precious pre-phylloxera vineyard dating back to the late 1800s, producing Etna DOC wines from Nerello Mascalese and Carricante.
