About the Winery

Emidio Pepe is one of Abruzzo's most iconic wineries, founded in 1964 by Emidio Pepe in Torano Nuovo, province of Teramo, with family roots in viticulture dating to the late 19th century. Now in its fifth generation, the estate produces approximately 80,000 bottles annually from 15 biodynamically farmed hectares, with about 40% held back for aging, focusing on long-aging Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and Trebbiano d'Abruzzo released only when ready.
