About the Winery
Palazzo Vecchio is a historic winery between Montepulciano and Cortona, founded by Marco Sbernadori and Sandra Zorzi with their first Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva DOCG vintage in 1990. Today led by Luca Sbernadori, the estate cultivates Sangiovese Prugnolo Gentile on soils of clay, silt, tuff, and forest sediment, producing Vino Nobile DOCG, Riserva, Rosso di Montepulciano, and Vin Santo aged in large French oak casks.
