About the Winery

Fontaleoni is a family estate established in 1959 in San Gimignano by Giovanni Troiani, now in its third generation of winemakers with 15 hectares of vineyards on calcareous Pliocene soils. The estate produces Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG, Vernaccia Riserva, Chianti Colli Senesi, and rosé, with their flagship Vernaccia first harvested in the early 1990s and vinified in stainless steel for crisp, fresh expression.
