Castello La Leccia is a historic winery first mentioned in documents from 1077, located in Castellina in Chianti at altitudes between 300 and 500 meters on marl and chalk soils. Now managed by the Swiss Sonderegger family since 2018, the estate is organically farmed and produces structured Chianti Classico wines primarily from Sangiovese, continuing a legacy that includes ownership by the famous Ricasoli family in the 15th century.
