About the Winery

Vecchie Terre di Montefili is a boutique Chianti Classico winery set on a hilltop outside Panzano at 500 meters elevation, founded in 1975 with 12.5 hectares of vineyards on prized Galestro and Alberese soils. Now led by winemaker Serena Gusmeri since 2014, the estate is devoted to minimal intervention and sustainability, producing concentrated old-vine Sangiovese wines and Supertuscans aged in neutral oak.
