About the Winery
Castello di Volpaia is one of the most historic wineries in Chianti Classico, situated in an 11th-century hilltop village north of Radda in Chianti at elevations between 400 and 650 meters. Owned by the Mascheroni Stianti family since 1972, the estate cultivates 45 hectares of certified organic Sangiovese vineyards on skeletal soils of sandstone and clay, producing elegant, high-altitude wines that are founding members of the Lega del Chianti.
